We would be honored to be entrusted with your pet’s care!

Thanks to modern technology, veterinarians now have more options than ever for treating things like chronic pain, non-healing wounds, surgical sites, and even gingivitis. At Parkview Pet Hospital, we rely on FDA-approved cold laser technology to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and more. With the DoctorVet therapy laser, we can provide safe, effective treatment for a wide range of ailments in just a few 5 to 10-minute sessions. We are proud to provide cold laser therapy in Long Beach and would be honored to be entrusted with your pet’s care.

HOW DOES COLD
LASER THERAPY WORK?

With the DoctorVet therapy laser system, packets of concentrated light energy are delivered to deep tissue layers. There, the light energy triggers healing and regeneration on the cellular level. It does not cause damage to surrounding tissues, and there are no known side effects. This treatment is safe for the vast majority of pets and is used to treat a wide range of issues.

WHAT ISSUES CAN BE TREATED
WITH LASER THERAPY?

Laser therapy can be used to treat pain, inflammation, wounds, gingivitis, and more.
It is commonly used to speed up healing post-surgery and is often recommended for older pets suffering from degenerative disorders, such as osteoarthritis. We use the DoctorVet therapy laser system to treat:

  • Wounds
  • Fractures
  • Dermatological conditions
  • Neurological conditions
  • Hip dysplasia
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Degenerative disc and joint disease
  • Chronic and acute ear infections
  • Periodontal disease, including gingivitis
  • Acute trauma
  • Post-operative incisions
In many cases, improvement becomes apparent following just one session. In others, a series of treatments may be required. Every pet and situation is different. When you bring your pet to us for cold laser therapy, we will discuss everything with you in detail and address any questions or concerns you may have.
